We are not bloodthirsty people, but the medieval aesthetics we love in a rethought modern form works brighter when there is a hint of the gloomy Gothic attributes of that time in the finished image. On the other hand, we do not at all grieve over the fact that the chopping block and the ax, as effective tools for resolving all issues, have long since disappeared into history.
